Somatic Movement

Somatic movement simply means to be fully present and aware of your body in the moment. In somatic movement, we move with full body awareness. We focus on how we feel in the here and now, not where we’re going. It’s a really wonderful way to see how your emotions (mind) are interacting with you body (physical).

Yoga is a wonderful way to connect to somatic movement, as we can focus on the mind-body connection through gentle movement and breathwork.
